About our committee members
The Nightwatch management team brings together expertise from the private and public sectors. The team is drawn from the community and is balanced as to gender and ethnic origin. It includes people working in industry, in local and in national government.
Chair: Jad Adams
Jad Adams has worked as a volunteer for Nightwatch since 1979 and has been chair of the organisation since 1992. He has worked in the newspaper and television industries and is now a professional writer, of history books and novels. For eight years he was a councillor in a neighbouring authority, holding a number of senior positions including Chair of Finance. He is director of a residential management company, K & P G Ltd.
Nicky Edwards
Nicky Edwards has lived in Croydon since 1984 and has worked in Croydon for the last 22 years. She runs the administrative side of a Croydon-based architectural practice. Nicky is family-orientated and has two grown-up daughters. She has been volunteering for Nightwatch for five years. Nicky’s interests are family, walking, fitness and travel.
Roger Davies
Roger Davies is a retired mechanical engineer who previously specialised in design, project management and quality control. Currently he is involved in charity work. He has been a volunteer at Nightwatch since 1999.
Nana Acquah
Nana Acquah has worked in policy with government ministers on immigration, crime and disorder issues. She holds a master’s degree in public policy and a postgraduate in public policy and a postgraduate diploma in Law.
Fiona Satiro
Fiona Satiro is an employment lawyer and HR consultant. She has extensive board/trustee experience both as an adviser to boards and personally as a board member/trustee in other organisations. Fiona has lived in Croydon for over 30 years and is our volunteer co-ordinator.
Cindee Low
Cindee Low has 30 years of experience in insurance working in a brokerage, but previously as an underwriter within charities and a social enterprise environment.
In her spare time, Cindee also helps out other charities, and is part of the local WI Resolution team. Along with watching films, learning new hobbies, Cindee has a passion for food, cooking, and eating!
