Jad Adams has worked as a volunteer for Nightwatch since 1979 and has been chair of the organisation since 1992. He has worked in the newspaper and television industries and is now a professional writer, mainly of history books. For eight years he was a councillor in a neighbouring authority, holding a number of senior positions including Chair of Finance. He is director of a residential management company, K & P G Ltd.
